The wooden McDougall Stoney historical mission church on 1A in Alberta, near Morley Native Reserve in Alberta between Cochrane and Canmore is gone - destroyed by fire on Victoria Day 2017. The picture shows the 142-year-old wooden structure with late afternoon shadows along the pathway in days gone by. Memories of history gone in a moment of anger, probably arson, as authorities suspect.
